Outstanding 1930s-early 40s 2-tone half belt leather jacket by Cross Country Togs. All the features you'd hope to see are present. A rare and beautiful piece, made all the more scarce given it's larger size.
Size: Tagged 48. PLEASE OBSERVE THE MEASUREMENTS:
Chest (underarm to underarm): 25"
Sleeve (shoulder to cuff): 25.5"
Shoulders (seam to seam): 20.75"
Length (neck seam at base of collar to bottom hem): 25"
Fabric: Appears to be suede with either buckskin or a finer cowhide trim/paneling. Interior is fully lined in rayon.
Condition: Remarkable. The jacket shows honest wear/patina with some scuffing/scratches (mostly on the left cuff and collar fold - see last two pics) and an insignificant spot or two. Lining is in incredible condition. Zippers operate perfectly. This jacket is a true survivor and has a whole lifetime ahead of it. An absolutely outstanding piece.
