A Ditty About Us
We’ve always been foolish. Outside looking outside. Met in the city, dreamt of the country, lived there, here, and somewhere in between. Shaking the last drops outta the fountain. One more cup of coffee, shot of whiskey, side of pancakes. Cotton and wool. Denim and twill. Silk. Horsehide. East and then west and then east. Slowly but impulsively. A crawl then a leap. Rolling. Tumbling.
We made it to the little town of High Falls, NY in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Come visit us. We’ve got old clothes from America, good paper and pens from Japan. We’ve got antique jewelry and candles and faded photos and mysterious art. Randomness and intention all intertwined like garter snakes.
