We buy goods from the 1800s through the 1990s. Don't hesitate to bring us pieces that may require some work or are a bit dingy. We look at all conditions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
DENIM: This pertains to Jeans AND Jackets. USA made Levi’s, Wrangler, and Lee are always of particular interest but we will gladly look at anything from the 1990s or earlier.
WORK WEAR & UTILITARIAN GARMENTS: Barn Jackets, Hunting & Fishing Jackets, Chore Coats, Overalls, Coveralls, Chambray & Twill work shirts. Iconic brands such as Filson, Pendleton, Woolrich, and LL Bean are always of interest, as are work labels from catalog brands such as JC Penney (Penney’s), Montgomery Ward, and Sears.
BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, AND MISCELLANEOUS JERSEYS: 1960s and earlier.
BOWLING SHIRTS: 1970s and earlier. We love chain stitched details.
SPORT SHIRTS: We are extremely fond of these casual shirts which are defined by their flat bottom hem (no tails) and often, but not always, a loop at the collar. They were most prominently manufactured from the 1930s-1960s.
KNITWEAR: Good woolens, cashmere, cotton, and even acrylic. Cardigans and pullovers. Hand knit or commercially made.
T-SHIRTS: Merch tees, band/tour/concert tees, pop culture imagery, regional/tourist tees.
MEN’S TAILORING: Suits, sport coats, blazers, dress pants, and overcoats. We will look at anything into the early 1990s.
MILITARY: We will look at anything, but ideally garments produced pre-1980s.
COWBOY BOOTS: We will look at any boots provided they are manufactured in the USA, Mexico, or Spain. Condition is critical; no broken or compromised heels/soles, no dry rot or flaking to the leather and/or exotic skin.
LOAFERS: USA or UK made is preferable. Again, similar to cowboy boots, condition is a factor.
LEATHER BELTS: Western styles are always of particular interest and we love a good patina.
PURSES: Purses, handbags, and clutches from the 1970s or earlier. We will look at any leather bag from the 1990s or earlier, provided the leather is in reasonable condition.
JEWELRY: Native American/southwestern, sterling silver, and estate pieces.
TEXTILES: Old quilts, camp blankets in cotton and wool, and interesting coverlets. Ideally these items have some real age behind them.
OTHER ITEMS
ADVERTISING/SIGNAGE: Hand-painted signs on wood, metal, particle board. Larger advertising signs pertaining to clothing, restaurants, locations, jewelry, places of business, etc.
PHOTOGRAPHY: 1940s and earlier. Snapshots, Tintypes, Cabinet Cards
EPHEMERA: 1940s and earlier. Victorian Trade Cards, Souvenir postcard sets (can be from the 1950/60s), Postcards, Advertising, matchbooks, old menus
ART: 1960s and earlier. Sketchbooks, Loose hand illustrations/drawings, oil paintings (9x10 or smaller), folk art, naive art, outsider art, odd children drawings. If it’s a little weird we wanna see it.
